Are you planning to visit North Sumatra in your travels to Indonesia? Come to our Sumatra Volunteer English Schools if you would like to do something different on your holiday and help our children.

Come to our Sumatra Volunteer English School!   We would love you to come and volunteer at our English School in Selayang village and Sunshine Class, near Bukit Lawang, Bohorok in North Sumatra. We are looking for both short-term and long-term volunteers, either international or local.

You don’t have to be a teacher to volunteer on our teaching projects. There is no need to have a formal teaching qualification to gain work experience in any of our small village destinations.  You don’t even need to speak the local language where you are going. All we require is a good standard of spoken English and an interest in helping our children learn.

Our English program is open to all volunteers whether you are on a gap year, at university, retired, on holidays or wanting a career break.

Our program is part of a global effort to ensure that every child has access to a quality education, as we believe education is a direct route out of poverty for our children.

OUR VOLUNTEERING PROGRAM STARTS FROM AS LITTLE AS ONLY $35 US A DAY (WEEK 1 IS $65US A DAY THEN ITS $35US A DAY FROM DAY 8 ONWARDS).
Our volunteering program includes shared dormitory accommodation, Medan airport/hotel trasnfers and 3 traditional Indonesian meals a day, including tea coffee and water. You will just need a little extra money for any activities you would like to do on the weekend.
